With a background in investments and lending, Matt’s experience has been gained primarily in scaling high growth, startup financial services businesses.
Matt is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
Matt leads Tenn Capital.
Steve has 25 years’ experience in the finance industry. With a broad background spanning investments, banking and alternative lending.
Steve is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).
At the beginning of 2022, Steve founded Oaklands Secure Lending Ltd and is now the Managing Director of Tenn Capital.
Andy has over 30 years financial experience and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Andy founded Sancus in 2013 & he was a founding partner of Ermitage Group following its MBO in 2006 from Liberty Life, backed by Caledonia Investments. He has also worked at International Asset Monitor, Kleinwort Benson and Morgan Grenfell.
Andy is an Executive Director at Tenn Capital.
Nick is an ACCA qualified accountant with 25 years in financial services.
Nick has held roles at Investec, Northern Trust, Credit Suisse and Amberton Asset Management.
Nick will be responsible for the overall operating model of Tenn Capital, as well as providing best in class reporting to all stakeholders.
Claire is Tenn Capital’s Head of Credit Analytics and Reporting.
Bringing significant credit experience to Tenn Capital, Claire was previously employed as a Senior Credit Manager at EFG Private Bank in Guernsey for more than twenty years.
With exceptional analytical skills and an aptitude for risk assessment and analysis of creditworthiness in even the most complex of deals, Claire brings a wealth of practical expertise to Tenn Capital’s team and credit committee.
Emilie began work at The Royal Bank of Scotland International Limited in 1995 where she worked in various corporate banking roles, eventually leading the Corporate Documentation and Security team, responsible for overseeing the lending and credit stewardship process for four offshore jurisdictions.
Following RBSI, Emilie was the Group Legal Executive at Sancus and the Head of Risk & Operations at Oaklands.
Mike is Tenn’s Head of Credit.
Mike has enjoyed a varied banking career including roles as the Head of Corporate Banking and Island Director for Lloyds Bank International Limited in Guernsey before moving to take up the role of Head of Credit for the International Wealth business of Lloyds, retaining his Island Director responsibilities.
Mike has first class experience managing a large and multi jurisdictional lending book and has led the design of our Credit Policy and process.
Carrie joins the team following a varied career that has given her a wealth of experience in a range of financial positions.
Carrie’s adaptability, problem solving, and drive to achieve the highest standards are some of her main assets.
Carrie is keen to enhance and develop further with the team at Tenn Capital.
Islay is the CEO of Enness Global Mortgages.
Islay founded Enness with Hugh Wade Jones in 2007. Together, they have built the business into the market leader in International high value mortgages, bridging finance and complex property deals.
Drawing on his vast industry knowledge, Islay will provide Tenn Capital with broad strategic support.
Nigel is the CEO of JTC Group, a FTSE 250 company. Nigel has been the key figure in the development of JTC over the last 28 years.
A hugely experienced and respected business leader, with a variety of personal directorships across multiple sectors, Nigel will help provide strategic direction for Tenn Capital.
David has worked in the fiduciary services industry for over 40 years, looking after a very wide range of structures for wealthy private clients all over the world, including extensive experience of real estate ownership vehicles.
During his fiduciary career, David has built up a vast global network of law firms, accountancy firms and tax advisors.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute and a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners.
Karen has over 25 years banking experience covering various operational roles. Karen began her career at Barclays and continued working with Barclays when she moved to Gibraltar in 2003.
During this time she headed up the banking services, payments and credit teams. Following Barclays, Karen worked for Sancus overseeing and managing the credit process.
Declan brings over 15 years financial services experience, beginning his career at the Bank of Butterfield in their investments division.
Emigrating to Australia in 2013, Declan has since held a variety of managerial roles specialising in operations at J.P. Morgan, Northern Trust and Mutual Trust. Including most recently leading the operations team at MaxCap Group – Australia’s largest non-bank lender of CRE debt.
